Official: Longtime FC Barcelona goalkeeper Víctor Valdés completes his move to Manchester United with an 18-month contract.

Manchester United's official Twitter feed provided details of the new deal:
is delighted to announce that Victor Valdes has signed an 18-month contract with an option for a further year.
